Our History


The Pieter Kruger Foundation started from a initiative that started in 2004 that was named by the Cape Town community The 3 Angels Project. The 3 Angels Project was transitioned to the Pieter Kruger Foundation.

The Pieter Kruger Foundation was then provided with a new nick name from the community of Katlehong who referred to us as the PKF Team. 

The Pieter Kruger Foundation later started implementing projects in Katlehong, Thokoza, Vosloorus in Johannesburg of which individuals from the surrounding areas of Gauteng Area could apply for our Skills Development Programmes during the period of 2017 to 2025. 

Our volunteer work further expanded to Mdantsane, East London then the surrounding areas of East London individuals from the surrounding Eastern Cape could apply for our Skills Development Programme during the period of 2018 to 2023. 


During our volunteer work in Gauteng we received high volumes of Limpopo beneficiaries that joined the Programmes in Gauteng. In the year 2023 to 2025 we extended our volunteer work in Jane Furse, Limpopo individuals from the surrounding areas of Limpopo could apply for our programme.

The Pieter Kruger Foundation does not make use of 3rd Party Individuals or Companies to manage our Applications Processes, Community Engagements, Request  and Daily Operations.
